Q: What food smell brings you instantly back to childhood?
A: Stuffed Peppers - my mother always fixed them for us on Halloween 'cause it was the only time she could get us kids to eat them... go figure?
Q: What is your first food memory?
A: Picking a tomato of the vine with my grandfather (who had his salt shaker in his pocket) and taking a bite out of that warm piece of fruit.
Q: If I came to your house for supper tonight, what would you make me?
A: Grilled pork tenderloin, quinoa with tomatoes, cilantro, avocado, red onions and corn, an arugula salad, artisan bread and homemade honey vanilla ice cream.
Q: What is your perfect idea of happiness?
A: A day at the beach, my pup, my ipod, my cooler, and a killer book all in tow
Having a savings account that has more than $100 in it.

Owning a little café that sources only local ingredients
Taking a weekend getaway to New Orleans and walking around the French Quarter
Working in my garden, planting, getting dirty and then having a great barbecue for an early dinner
Q: What is your greatest fear?
A: If the estimates on the extinction rate of bird and mammal species come true.
Q: What historical figure do you most identify with?
A: I don’t identify with any but I sure think Amelia Earhart was a cool gal!
Q: Who are your heroes in real life?
A: They change on a quarterly basis.
Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A: Still waiting on that one....
Q: What is your most treasured possession?
A: My mother was a stewardess and she wore a silver bracelet every time she flew for good luck – she gave it to me a while ago. Thanks, Mom!
