Q: What food smell brings you instantly back to childhood?
A: Roasted lamb. When I was a kid I loved eating fish, my brothers loved chicken, my dad loved steak and my mom just wanted us all to sit down for a meal together. At some point she realized we all agreed on lamb so the smell of roasted lamb became the call to dinner.

Q: What is your first food memory?
A: Fresh squeezed orange juice.

Q: If I came to your house for supper tonight, what would you make me?
A: If they're in season, fried soft shell crabs with a tomato and corn salad, warm crusty bread, and fresh margaritas.

Q: What is your perfect idea of happiness?
A: A deserted beach, sunny day, Allison, and a six-pack of beer.

Q: What is your greatest fear?
A: Never doing anything to make the world a better place.

Q: What historical figure do you most identify with?
A: Betty White.

Q: Who are your heroes in real life?
A: My best friend M.E. Head. She's the most selfless and loving person I've ever met. Every time we get together she teaches me something valuable about life and leaves me exhausted from hours of laughing.

Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A: Finding a soul mate.

Q: What is your most treasured possession?
A: My appetite.

Q: What is your motto?
A: "Eat the cheese!"
